In order to further on promote the high technology, National Planning Committee approved Hangzhou Jinjiang Group and Zhejiang University for the brand new large scale 800ton/d MSW processing high-tech demonstration project in Qiaosi Hangzhou. Putting the technology of incinerator at the core and focusing on combustion power generating matching technology, the project was designed on the basis of Yuhang Jinjiang MSW combustion demonstration project. The plant was completed and put into production in June 2002.

Based on the national demonstration project, Hangzhou Jinjiang Group and Zhejiang University worked closely and invested in various MSW power plants in Heze of Shandong province, Zhengzhou of He’nan province and Wuhu of Anhui province etc. Shandong. Heze power plant was put into production in April 2001 and He’nan Zhengzhou power plant in September 2002. The rest project were also completed and put into operation.
